Is it the holidays already?!

I can't believe the holidays are here already. Am I the only one who feels like as soon as Halloween comes, the rest of the year FLIES by? This year will most likely feel faster than normal. My grandmother is coming for a visit this coming week, we're excited to show her around, she hasn't been here yet. On Saturday we have a Halloween party at G's station. D's school is taking the VPK kids to the campus bookstore for a story telling on Halloween. Then of course there's trick-or-treating. Then will come Thanksgiving, my birthday and we will head north to the frozen tundra to spend Christmas with my family! We'll return before New Years so that I can be here when my best friend gives birth on the 31st (SO excited!) and be here for D's birthday as well. I know I'm going to blink and it'll be January. But, that's okay, I'm really looking forward to this year, the kids are finally at ages where they should 'get' Halloween and Christmas and I can't wait to experience that with them. Last year's Christmas was such a bust with all of us having the flu. I REALLY hope we can bypass that this year and enjoy ourselves. And as much as we all know that I really, really don't enjoy the snow and cold, I am happy to be going home for Christmas. It's just not the same when we celebrate it somewhere else. Christmas to me is spent at my grandparents and that's where I want to be, where I want my kids to be, to make memories that I hope they'll remember when they're grown. G will not be travelling with us again and while that makes me sad for him, he wants us to go and enjoy the time with my family while we can. Okay, now that I've made myself cry thinking about the future, how about some pumpkin patch pics, huh? These are from yesterday. Kids weren't overly cooperative. LoL.
