Seriously?!

A friend and I went shopping yesterday. At some point while we were out some moron presumably parked next to me scraped the side of the van when they backed out. It looked really bad at first, but my friend was able to wipe a lot of the paint off. Still some scraping though. *sigh* I went into BRU (closest store) and asked for the shopping center's security number. I called the guy and he came over, filled out an incident report. He wasn't overly helpful, said I could call the Sheriff's Office, but it could take a while. I asked about the security camera on a pole in the next aisle of cars. He said it was Target's and I would have to talk to them. So then we went over and talked to Target's security officer. He said the camera was undergoing server maintenance and he couldn't look over the footage right then. He looked at the car and took my info. Said he'd look over the footage when he could and call me if he found anything. Called Sheriff's Office just to get a report in case we decided to have insurance fix it. He actually came very quickly and filled out a report. Lots of paperwork for not much of anything. I guess we'll wait 'til Maaco has a special going on, it'll prob be less than our deductible anyway. Fun times we have around here. :)
