School's out!

Yesterday was D's last day of PreK. Yay! And he actually got to go! His fever was gone, he just had laryngitis. His voice is starting to come back, and with it his attitude. He was so sweet for three days while he was sick and whispering. Is it wrong to wish your kid would stay sick a little longer?

This morning I've been making a calendar of things going on this summer so we don't get too bored. It's already WAY too hot to play outside all day. I wish we'd rented a house with a pool now so that I could just floatie them up and they'd be happy all day. But, instead we've got lots of free movies, storytime at the library and hopefully swim lessons to get us through. And of course a trip to Maine in August. Oh, and seriously potty training M now that we don't have to leave the house. This should be fun....right?
