There are good, honest people out there....
G lost his wallet on Saturday. He went to the gas station to get a Sobe, then went to the movie theater. When he went to the box office to get his ticket, he didn't have it. He assumed he dropped it at the gas station so he raced back there. Guy at counter said he hadn't seen it, no one had turned it in. We shut off all the cards, put fraud alerts on his credit, ordered a new license and yesterday he went to the AFB in Tampa to get a new military ID. While on the way back from Tampa he got a call from the station saying the District office had gotten a call from a woman in Chicago who'd found his wallet on Saturday in the parking lot of the theater. She was on vacation here and didn't have time to track him down before she left. She overnighted the wallet here, we just got it, she put in a note saying she hadn't used the cards or anything and had only gone through it to get info about how to contact him. She used the $20 in there to pay for the shipping, which I had expected. Thank you Patty in Chicago!
