In other news, my mom turned the big 5-0 yesterday. I talked to her a couple times and she said it was up to 51* out! What a nice birthday present. I wish I could have been at her party on Sunday. I've really been missing my family this winter. I wish I could be in Maine to help my grandparents shovel snow (not really the snow part, but you KWIM. :) ) I wish I could be there to help my mom with things too. I wish we were closer so the kids could see their grandparents and great-grandparents regularly. It makes me sad that they won't have the same kind of relationship that I had growing up with my grandparents. But, the kids don't know any different, they still love them just the same, they don't get shy when we go back to visit, even when it's been months since they've seen them last. D asks if we can go to Maine every couple of weeks or if Grams or Uncle Larry or whoever can come visit us every now and then. He asked a couple days ago if we could go to Maine that day and I told him we already had a trip planned for May and he was so excited. I felt bad telling him it would be a few months. Hopefully some time before then someone can come visit us. :)
I'll leave you with the latest kiddo pic, from a few days ago. And one from Outback on M's birthday, right before they sang to her.
