Is there a sticker on me somewhere?!

Seriously, check my back, is there a sticker on me somewhere that says "Make my life as difficult as you can, please!"?! Gah! I thought I was done with moving frustrations, but oh no, silly me. I got an email for our phone bill today (paperless billing) and there was a $14.95 shipping charge on there. For what, I asked the CSR at Embarq. She says it was for the modem. A modem I did not ask for since we already have one from Embarq, I had told the CSR when I set it all up that I did not need it and she said it was free so she'd send it anyway. Never mentioned the $14.95. So the CSR today says if it's unopened (it is! I didn't need it!) then I can return it to their store and I'll be credited. Sure, fine, nothing else to do then drag two kids somewhere. We take it to the store, guy gives me a receipt for returning it, but says he can't credit me, I have to call the 800# and tell them I returned it. (for the love of pete!) So I call Embarq, again! After being on hold for over 10min I get a lady, tell her the whole story and she was surprised the charge hadn't been mentioned. (would I have agreed to pay $15 for something I didn't need?!) she puts me on hold for at least five minutes and the system hangs up on me! When I call back in a few minutes I get a recording saying they are now closed! At this point the kids have been bathed and it's bedtime, but I need to finish this. I go to their webpage and start up a chat session with an online rep, tell him the whole story again and he apologizes and says I'll see the credit on our next bill. Oh, and they'd had our wrong address so UPS didn't even deliver it, I had to drive to the other side of town to some industrial district to their office to pick it up so it wasn't even shipped! (note to self: next time let them return it to Embarq.) And let's not even get started on the fact that none of the phone jacks upstairs work so their tech is coming out on Thursday. I need a drink.
